The registration procedure will use the most common method for the registration of a domain name.
In fact, EURid which will be the Registry in charge of the .eu-extension will appoint a network of authorized agents who will be able to register the domain names. It will not be possible, as a user, to register a domain name directly with EURid
The conditions to become a .eu agent have not been communicated to us yet. We can be sure, however, that not everyone will fulfill the requirements. This will probably lead to the emerging of a network of unauthorized agents, as this is the case for the .com at the moment.
As the requirements to become an agent are still unknown, this network has not been established yet. In other terms, not a single person is authorized to offer you a .eu domain name or give you any guaranties whatsoever concerning the result.
It is possible however to pre-register a domain name for free.

- Concerning domain names for which the demand is high, you will dispose of a primacy in case an agent receives multiple demands.
