The agreement between EURid and ICANN finally signed !

The 21st of March, ICANN has finally approved the delegation of the Top Level domain .eu. This agreement allows us to ask ICANN to insert the .eu in the world root servers. This stage should not take longer then 10 days.

Important outcome for the calendar of the .eu: this agreement enables us to confirm the opening of the first Sunrise Period for the end of 2005. We can confirm, with almost utter certainty, that it will be possible to register a .eu domain name before the end of this year
